The North Coast’s Lakefront Playground

At 165 acres, Cullaby Lake County Park is the largest in Clatsop County. With over 4,400 feet of lakefront access, this park has something for everyone: from fishing and paddling to water skiing and swimming. The park features two large reservable picnic shelters, a sandy volleyball court, a historic log cabin, and more. Hike the 1.5-mile wetland trail, fire up the BBQ, or let the kids enjoy the play structure. It’s the perfect all-day destination.

A $5 day use fee is required year-round. Pay stations accept cash or card, and if you plan to visit more than a few times this summer, consider picking up a $30 Annual Parks Pass for unlimited entry to Cullaby, John Day, and Carnahan County Parks.

 

Shelters

The shelters at Cullaby Lake are available year-round for rental at a daily non-refundable rate of $35. Reservations can be requested by calling (503) 338-3740 and leaving a message OR by calling the Clatsop County Fisheries office at (503) 325-6452. NEW! Credit card payments for reservations and prepaid parking passes are now being accepted via phone.  A 2.5% fee ($2.00 minimum) will be charged to the customer.

Reservations for Cullaby Lake picnic shelters for the 2026 season will be accepted beginning October 1, 2025. Summer weekend days fill up very quickly, so reserve early to ensure space for your event!

Daily passes are available at our automated fee station for $5 per vehicle per day. Annual passes may also be purchased by completing this Park Pass Application.
