John Day County Park and boat launch is located on U.S. Highway 30 approximately 5 miles east of Astoria. The park consists of 54 acres, a public boat launch to Columbia River (recently renovated and channel dredged), flush restrooms, and a landscaped entryway courtesy of Tongue Point Job Corps.
The day-use fee is $5 per vehicle per day. Annual passes may also be purchased by completing this Park Pass Application Form.
